For several months we know that the 2019 World Championship League of Legends will take place in Europe, with a stint in Berlin, Madrid and its terminus in Paris for its final phase.
In 2018, the Mid-Season Invitational took place in Paris at the Zénith de la Villette. At the time, it was the Chinese team RNG that won the tournament by crushing the European team Fnatic 3-0. A year later, Europe took revenge with the G2 team by winning the tournament 3-2 against the legendary SK Telecom T1.
This year the teams of the old continent, especially G2, are the favorites of this competition. Can we calculate a second European team world champion League of Legends after Fnatic in 2011?
Riot Games has unveiled the schedule for this competition, which started a few days ago in Berlin at the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) with Group A and Group B teams.
For this first round of the tournament which will take place from 2 to 8 October in Berlin, the teams of each group, which include three, will compete in a double round robin in BO1 (1 winning round), c that is, they will meet each opponent in their group twice.
