Microsoft's points of Xbox sales and revenue about a third
After Microsoft announced last month that it would stop sharing our monthly Xbox Live user numbers and years ago it stopped disclosing Xbox One sales.
Today, the company disclosed its financial results for the quarter ending September 30, showing that the more Personal Computing division, which includes the Xbox division, generated revenues of $ 11.1 billion, up 4% from last year.
But this figure includes revenue from Microsoft Surface devices, Bing advertising, Windows revenue, and more. If we go deeper into Xbox, revenue from Xbox content has risen by about 1%, including subscriptions and cloud services.
Overall, revenue from the gaming division fell by about 7%, particularly hardware sales, which fell by 34% due to the decline in the demand for the purchase of Xbox with the expectation of continued decline in the coming period with the end of the current generation and waiting for consumers for the new generation.
