The Last of Us Part 2 postponed to May 2020


Update: Naughty Dog officially announced the postponement of the release of The Last of Us Part 2 to 29 May 2020 instead of February 21 as previously announced, where the director of the game in a message via the PlayStation Blog explained their need for a longer period of time to refine the title and ensure submission The level that all players aspire to, and therefore had no choice but to postpone the release date or abandon the level of quality that the studio used to provide in all his previous projects.

Original news: The Last of Us Part 2 has been extensively reviewed in the past period and the official release date is revealed on February 21, 2020 but it seems that the game will be subject to a new postponement according to an unidentified source explained that the title will not be released in the markets before the spring of next year.


That information came via Kotaku, where the site confirmed that the information was obtained from different sources familiar with the project, while Sony declined to comment on those details at the moment, while it is expected that the news will be officially revealed later this week by Naughty Dog.

The Last of Us Part 2 is a sequel to the first part of 2013, and the game was first unveiled in 2016 before the release date was set last month and talk about characters and gameplay extensively.
