Half-Life & VR

Entirely thought for virtual reality, the title would follow Alyx Vance in an unprecedented adventure, with a move to Ravenholm

Attention, get out the tweezers, here's a new rumor about the Half-Life franchise, which will also celebrate its 21 years tomorrow. Except that this time, Gordon Freeman can put away his protective suit in a hostile environment, the title would highlight Alyx Vance

A user who has already leaked Dota Underlords has just put online some sentences from an interview between Geoff Keighley (presenter of the Game Awards), Robin Walker (Team Fortress 2) and a stranger (possibly Gabe Newell), discussing of Half-Life: Alyx. It would be a game designed to be played in virtual reality, with all the body in the space and features specific to VR, like panic and let go of the chargers on the ground while zombies arrive in front of the player. A detour to Ravenholm from planned? Half-Life: Alyx would be used to highlight Valve's new VR technologies, the studio has launched the Valve Index this year, and will be working on another virtual reality headset with Apple. Last year, a rumor already mentioned the Index and a Half-Life game in VR.
This interview would come from a future episode of The Final Hours, with Geoff Keighley accompanying members of a studio on the development of a game, and better yet: Half-Life: Alyx would be unveiled at the Game Awards 2019 December 12 next, for an exit in March 2020.
