Pokemon Sword & sold 1.36 million copies in Japan
Pokemon Sword and Shield took the lead in British sales last week after beating the title of Modern Warfare, and the same thing happened in Japan recently after the title sold more than 1.36 million copies in just three days
Famitsu's report showed that sales numbers are limited to store copies and download cards only, and if digital sales are counted, this number will undoubtedly double. Pokemon Sword and Shield is the best-selling game on Switch in the launch week, beating Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sold 1.23 million copies in the release period.
Pokemon Sword and Shield have been criticized in the run-up to the market, although sales confirm that the title is a success in all regions without exception, helping Switch to achieve wider deployment in the coming period.
