Today, Shintaro Kojima officially announced his departure from Capcom,
Shintaro Kojima was announced via his personal Twitter account, when this morning he posted some tweets, most notably:
He was involved in designing parts for the famous Monster Hunter series, starting with its first part released in 2004 on PS2. Kojima's latest active contributions may be summed up in his contribution to Monster Hunter Generations released three years ago.
It also suggests that Kojima was not involved in the development of Monster Hunter World, which was available a year ago, on current generation devices and PCs.
