EA wants to present Iron Man differently than any other Marvel game

Has it been confirmed as an RPG?

Electronic Arts' Motive Studio has announced that it is working on a new Iron Man game currently in collaboration with Marvel, and recently the studio's general manager talked about how he wants to distinguish the upcoming Iron Man game from other superhero games on the market.

The recent period witnessed the re-emergence of AAA superhero games from Marvel after the previous focus on mobile games, and a group of titles achieved strong successes from popular titles such as Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, and it seems that those projects are not going to stop any time soon Hence, the Motive team would like to offer a different experience than any other Marvel game.

Motive Studio Director Patrick Klaus is clearly excited about the project, which is still in pre-production, referring to it as a "chance of a lifetime" and asserting that it will be an entirely new narrative of Iron Man and provide compelling stories. The game's formulation, stating that it needs innovation and offers different features from some other Marvel or current role-playing games.

The studio wants to avoid comparisons with other Marvel games on the market, so it will take new approaches to offer a different experience as possible, and with the director of the studio mentioning role-playing games in particular, it seems we have confirmation of the game's primary direction, although it's too early to talk about anything about the project in current period.
