Square Enix revealed its annual report for fiscal year 2022, which announced that the Final Fantasy series has sold 173 million copies sold worldwide.

The new sales figure includes store shipments and digital copies sold as of March 31, 2022. Additionally, the annual report reveals that Part VII alone has sold 13.9 million copies worldwide.
